Compare E-330 to S-330

Another pair of similar gas grills in the Genesis family are the top-of-the-line E-330 and the S-330 models. Either of these grills will cook up anything you like, with Weber‘s quality and reputation standing behind them. The individual electronic ignition makes grilling on the three stainless steel burners enjoyable and entertaining. The flush-mounted side burner and 10,000 BTU-per-hour Sear Station is Weber’s way to give you steakhouse-quality in your own back yard. Differences in the two versions are noted below:

Weber Genesis E-330 differences

  • Porcelain enameled cast-iron cooking grates
  • Porcelain-enameled Flavorizer bars
  • Porcelain enameled shroud with center mounted thermometer

Weber Genesis S-330 differences

  • 7mm diameter stainless steel rod cooking grates
  • Stainless steel Flavorizer bars

The largest in the Genesis family of grills are engineered with the individual electronic ignition, 38,000 BTUs in the main burner; 12,000 BTUs in the side burner; and a 10,000 BTU sear station. These options along with the total cooking area of 637 square inches presents numerous grilling possibilities.

Both the Genesis E-330 and the S-330 come with two stainless steel work stations that provide plenty of space for food preparation. The front-mounted control panel, painted steel frame, and porcelain-enameled heat deflectors set these models in a class by themselves. For convenience The E-330 and S-330 provide six tool hooks, owner’s guide with recipes, and limited warranties.

E-320 compared to the E-310 and the E-330

For the sake of comparison, the E-320 is a bit different representing a cross between the E-310 and the E-330. As it compares to the E-310, both have three stainless steel burners, and run with 38,000 BTU input. Both also have the trademark individual electronic ignition and porcelain-enameled Flavorizer bars. Even the porcelain-enameled cast-iron cooking grates are similar, and the cooking area is 637 square inches on both Genesis grill models.

The Weber Genesis E-320 also offers a 10-foot flexible hose for natural gas grills and are available in the same colors as the E-330: Black for natural gas grills, and a choice of black, copper or green for the liquid propane versions. The only difference between the E-320 and the E-310 is that the 320 model has an added feature – a 12,000 BTU-per-hour input flush-mounted side burner, similar to the E-330.

The Genesis family of grills offers both stainless steel and porcelain-enamel products to give you, the grill master, a choice. Both materials are used for outdoor grills because they are rust-resistant, hold up well in harsh weather, are durable and have heat-conducting properties. Do you like the look of shiny silver, or stylish black porcelain enamel? Or maybe you prefer a porcelain painted color, such as copper or green. The advantage to a stainless steel grill, it will last a very long time if cared for properly. The porcelain-enamel has a tendency to chip over time. If properly maintained, there is not much difference between stainless and porcelain-enamel. It’s a personal choice.
